Featured Artist
MARK MILLET

The Gardens of Madison County is pleased to feature the beautiful artwork of Mississippi artist Mark Millet. Many of the paintings in this booklet are scenes from gardens which have been on our tours over the years.

Mark works in oils, acrylic, and watercolors. He has been known to paint everything from portraits and landscapes to murals. Mark’s paintings are alive with brilliant colors and ivory light. They create a sense of place from the everyday to the lost landmarks. Millet’s interest in history and architecture only serves as a compliment to his artwork.

Mark has taught many art workshops at local schools, ranging from first graders to junior college students, as well as adult classes at his studio in Ridgeland. Millet has even taught aboard the Carnival Cruise Line Conquest.

The Millet Studio and Gallery is located in Ridgeland, Mississippi. For more information contact Mark at 601-856-6901 or visit www.markmillet.com.
